LAWRENCE CHEUNG MAN SHAN

Chairman/CEO

Lawrence is an industry guru in the Plastics industry, especially for Polyethylene related products and applications.

Lawrence spent over 43 years with Union Carbide Corporation and Dow Chemical Pacific Limited. He joined Union Carbide in Hong Kong in 1978, later taking on executive roles in Singapore and the U.S. before returning to Hong Kong in 2010 to assume leadership responsibilities for commercializing the outputs of Sadara project — a landmark joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow.

Renowned as a trusted industry expert, Lawrence developed a deep understanding of customer needs across the Asia-Pacific region. He also played pivotal roles in several high-profile projects, including NUC (UCC’s JV in Japan), Equate (UCC’s JV in Kuwait), Unipol licensing sales to ICI Australia, multiple licensees in Greater China, Ethylene/PE tolling among UCC, Mitsubishi and ICI Australia etc.

Lawrence was the pioneering leader behind the establishment of the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC), an independent body dedicated to advancing Singapore's chemical industry. Comprising major petrochemical corporations as members and board directors, the SCIC plays a pivotal role in the sector. In recognition of his contributions, Lawrence serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Board.

VIKKI CHEUNG

Managing Director

Vikki Cheung is an accomplished entrepreneur and the daughter of Lawrence Cheung. With a decade of startup experience, Vikki now supports her father at HV International Company Limited, managing financial planning, operations, and investment activities.

In 2015, she co-founded Canton Bloom and 9to6life, launching retail and lifestyle products in B2B and B2C markets across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. Her brands secured partnerships with notable organizations, including Häagen-Dazs, the Hong Kong Jockey Club, and Galaxy Macau. She used to work as a recruiter at Hudson in Hong Kong, placing mid to senior level talent in FMCG companies.

As a University of Hong Kong graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing), Vikki gained international exposure through exchange programs at the University of California, Berkeley, and McGill University. She completed an internship at Dow Chemical, supporting the packaging sales team.

LOUIS LUI

Business Director

Louis is an accomplished business leader with over 15 years of experience in business development, process
management, and corporate strategy across diverse industries.

Since joining HVI in 2022, he has applied his expertise in operational optimization and strategic growth within the the group. His career is distinguished by a proven ability to identify challenges, streamline processes, and deliver measurable results for organizations.

After five years of international exposure in the United States and Australia, Louis completed his degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and returned to Hong Kong. He later returned to his academic background, serving as a Financial Analyst at AT&T Asia/Pacific Group Ltd., where he developed a strong foundation in corporate finance and analytical decision-making.

In 2021, Louis entered the petrochemical industry, joining Ravago Asia, where he leveraged his cross-functional expertise to contribute to business growth and operational efficiency. His strategic mindset and process management capabilities have positioned him as a valuable asset in this dynamic sector.

ANNA LIU

Logistics Director

Anna has served as the General Manager of the Guangzhou Service Center since 2019, overseeing high-quality services in
trading management, order-to-cash processing, and logistics & transportation operations.

With a career spanning China’s Greater Bay Area since 2008, Anna has held key roles in Fortune 500 companies, including Emerson, Huntsman, and Dow Chemical. She has a proven track record of managing strategic accounts such as Cisco, Nike, Ravago, Sealed Air, and SIG Combibloc, navigating complex scenarios to mitigate risks and drive new business growth.

Leveraging her deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, Anna has served as a trusted business consultant since 2020, helping clients at various stages of development optimize their operations. Recognized for her strategic insight and reliability, she is a valued partner to the team and the clients.

Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade from Zhaoqing University (2008). Prior to this, she completed a three-year internship (2005–2007) at Xijiang Daily, honing her communication skills and resilience.
